Look who I found on the beach oneday,these shore loving Shelduck.:)

Jake loved the beach at Arnside and even found a friend.

Sea Pinks in bloom, Arnside.

Not very good at knowing my butterflies. Any ideas anyone?

Visited Leighton Moss but as we had Jake with us didnt get many birdy shots.Love this one though of Tufted Ducks in the reeds.

Yellow Flag Iris, Leighton Moss.

Spent alot of time trying to get a shot of the campsites resident woodpecker.He was gorgeous  and vivid green with a striking red head.( wish i could have caught his colours).

Cuckoo Pint 

Spent a few days camping at Gibralter Farm in Silverdale.Its a perfect little campsite with a wooded walk to a little cove.The weather was gorgeous, though maybe to hot for Jake.As hes getting older now we had to leave the walks to a minimum,bless him.Got some lovely pics though....
