 Jake has been crossing off lakes to swim in  ,rather like a Wainwright bagger! We have been camping in the Lake District at Thirlspot Farm Campsite near Thirlmere. : )

Was amazing to see an Oyster catcher further up the river today. I thought they only lived on the coast. A really hot day so Jake spent a lot of time in the water. Dont think the ducks were that impressed!

Here are a few of the birds,flowers and other wildlife that I see when i'm taking our black lab out and about.Today the river down Edisford was pretty high and fast but we were lucky enough to spot the Goosander chicks being buffeted about on the side of the river bank.Jake the dog had to have his usual swim of course!
